Stemwall
Stemwall: After the form boars are stripped off, we begin mortaring the first course of concrete block to the foundation so that it is level. We then dry-stack 2 additional rows of bond beam block on top of the foundation. Each row has horizontal rebar laid in it and vertical rebar from the foundation coming up through the block. We then patch the ends of each open block around each corner. Finally, we fill the stemwall with concrete.
