Roof- beams, decking & porch
Roof- beams, decking & porch: 2x8 sill plates are the first to go on. We then drop our log beam vigas into place, and adjust them so they are all in plane and at the correct slope. We fill in between each log end with concrete & can work, and then install the clerestory framing. Next, we nail on the reclaimed ceiling decking. Finally, we build the north side porch enclosure with Ponderosa pine logs and decking harvested from the property.
